Recommended by a friend who knew we love dining out enjoying new foods with great and unique vibes! Well this place you I can assure you the food the drink cocktails craft beer and the staff are friendly and professional to the Chefs their food cook amazingly mouth watering Thanks Guys will be back with a driver so I can sit back and enjoy your craft beers gins etc😃😋❤️

Tracked this place down looking for a place to have a late lunch on our way further south. So glad we found it! It is a hidden gem around the back of an industrial estate in South Nowra.
The food is home cooked, fresh, and just delicious; the cooking allowing the ingredients to do their special thing! The kiss of charcoal flavour on the steak and octopus just added another layer of deliciousness!
Gluten free bread was the best I’ve had and the chicken parfait was sensational.
The staff are so friendly and seem to genuinely love working here. Drinks are great too. Lots of drinks on tap and a lovely wine list.
As we drove away we couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful it was and how lucky we were that our research led us to the door.

My husband chose to have his birthday lunch here since he loves their lamb rolls and beers. He's been going with his workmates, who equally loves it.
For lunch we got bread, caramelised pork, charred octopus, garlic prawns and slow cooked lamb. All are winners and worth every dollar! I'm glad I finally got to try this place. I will surely return and will be recommending. Very friendly service and great vibe! Thank you guys!!!☺️👋

Hidden gem in an industrial area. Shoalhaven's best kept secret. Genuinely friendly, knowledgeable staff that clearly love making people happy. The menu seems simple but the standard is next level...best we've had in the 15 months we've been travelling around Australia...and the eclectic music mix was worthy of a top DJ. And all topped off with their own alcohol and amazing cocktails. What a perfect way to spend an afternoon

What an absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant experience was sophisticated and would not be out of place in Braddon, Surry Hills or Thornbury.
It’s in the boonies but once inside the host(ess) was so skilled and handled all that came her way with aplomb and good humour.
The food is so well imagined and delivered; it was a wow for every plate.
A small but well designed wine list and some great beers matched with the house cocktails.
Honestly, get there and do yourself a big favour that you won’t forget for a long time. Everyone involved should be commended.

We had the pleasure to have Old Salt cater our small wedding at Terrara House in March 2025. The food was amazing and was complimented by all of our guests. We requested all of the food to be made gluten free due to three of our guest having celiac's. Michelle and her team was able to cater for this with no hassle at all. Thank you!!

We had an amazing lunch at Old Salt distillery! Food was delicious with a good wine selection. Lovely well designed menu for sharing, everything we ordered was delicious!
We were warmly greeted by their wonderful staff and our little dog was made very welcome too! Will definitely visit again!

The Blood Orange & Passion Fruit is so refreshing after a few beers it is a must if you can get it and you should!

We came from Sydney just to eat and drink here, and so glad we did. Their scotch fillet is the best steak we have ever had. The lamb, again the best we have ever had. The Seltzers are unmatched and went down a treat, and im not a big alochol drinker. Don't skimp, order one of everything off the menu and it will be the best food you have ever had. Cannot wait to come here again.
